Purpose

TIPF Purposes

• to fulfill during a week end the dream of young hockey players from Switzerland , Europe even North Atlantic to compete as a player of the prestigious NHL
• to offer a structure allowing sportive and cultural exchanges among the participants and their, to create ties between different hockey club;
• to promote ice hockey in the region of Fribourg.

TIPF, means…

• more then 200, 8 to 10 years old, players;
• 9 teams of 17 players from Switzerland and from all over Europe ;
• 3 teams, selected among all the Fribourg clubs;
• 150 voluntary collaborators

…and also

• as souvenir on NHL jersey for each player and the 3 coaches (approx. 240 pieces given each year)
• a presentation of each team – with it’s national hymn – Saturday evening ;
• teams pictures send directly to the participants;
• festivities in the premises with concerts, bands and catering;
• the participation of “Guggenmusik”
• game opposing the “Old Blades” and “HC Fribourg-Gottéron” veterans;
• on the air with Radio Fribourg, Saturday all day;
• a Honorary Guest;
• a final show with the “Dragon” and the “Guggenmusik”
